Amanda Lowery, or Mandi, is a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC). Mandi recently obtained her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a Forensic Counseling specialization from Walden University. Prior to counseling, Mandi worked in a skilled nursing facility for 10 years and has a soft spot for working with elderly clients. Mandi enjoys working with clients from various backgrounds with a variety of diagnoses. She has also volunteered as a victim advocate with sexual assault and domestic violence survivors in the past and has a continued interest in working with that population. Mandi is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and enjoys using this technique to treat trauma and a variety of other mental health concerns.
