Jennifer Lisa grew up in South Jersey and moved to Baltimore to attend Loyola University, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology. She worked in Psychology for 15 years, seeing clients while working at a crisis center, the emergency department, and in an inpatient setting. She returned to school to obtain her nursing degree and has worked as an emergency room nurse for 15 years and a PACU nurse for 7 years.
During the COVID pandemic, Jennifer decided to return to school in order to combine her 2 passions — psychology and nursing — and become a psychiatric nurse practitioner.
Jennifer believes that every person deserves to life his/her best life. She sees her role as one who supports and empowers others. She looks forward to working collaboratively with clients across the lifespan in striving for his/her best life and wellness.
In her off time, Jennifer enjoys hiking with her husband and friends, going out to dinner, making crafts, and cuddling and playing with her 3 precious fur-babies.
Jennifer is honored and excited to join Mindful Healing Works Wellness Center and looks forward to helping others reach their fullest potential and happiest lives.
