Jonathan is a master’s level clinical intern, currently earning his degree in the Clinical Professional Counseling program at Loyola University Maryland and completed his undergraduate degree with a BA in psychology and a critical religion minor from Goucher College. Jonathan has chosen to pivot to a career in counseling after 20 years in the insurance field. He brings life experience, maturity, and an understanding of personal and professional challenges. Jonathan takes a person-centered approach to counseling with the belief that every client is the expert of their own experience. His clinical focus is helping clients with life adjustments and to help them realize they are not alone in their mental health journey and lived experiences. His goal is to create a safe, non-judgmental space to collaboratively determine the client’s needs, values, and goals. Outside of the office, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends, and is passionate about music in all forms: listening, experiencing, or creating.
